(WARMINSTER, PA)- Bucks County’s housing market showed encouraging signs of stability in August, with more homes selling than a year ago, prices holding steady, and nearly 1,000 homes available for buyers to consider.

According to data from Bright MLS, 662 homes sold in Bucks County during August 2026, an increase of 2.3% compared to August 2025.

The median sold price remained at $530,000, unchanged from August 2025. For consumers, stable prices combined with increased inventory can create a more balanced environment, giving buyers additional opportunities while homeowners continue to benefit from strong property values.

Homes also continued to move relatively quickly, spending an average of 20 days on the market, compared with 21 days in August 2025.

“August brought some positive signs for both buyers and sellers,” said Christy Manetta, 2026 President of the Bucks County Association of REALTORS®. “Buyers are seeing more homes available to consider, while steady prices continue to reflect the strength of the Bucks County housing market. Having more choices can give consumers a little more time and flexibility as they make one of their biggest financial decisions.”

At the end of August, there were 981 active homes for sale across Bucks County, with 568 new listings coming onto the market during the month.

For sellers, homes that are well-priced and properly prepared for the market continue to attract buyers. For those looking to purchase, the growing number of available properties provides more opportunities to find a home that meets their needs.

Consumers considering buying or selling a home are encouraged to work with a local REALTOR® who can help them understand market conditions in their specific community and develop a strategy based on their individual goals.
