The Bucks County housing market remained active in May, with prices continuing to climb and more homes coming to market as the spring season moved forward. The median sold price reached $546,000 in May, reflecting ongoing strength in local home values. At the same time, inventory improved, with 947 active listings, giving buyers more options than they have seen in recent months.
Even with that increase in supply, market conditions continued to favor sellers. Homes sold quickly, and buyer demand remained steady, keeping competition in place for well-priced properties. Pending activity and closed sales also moved higher in May, a sign that buyers are still engaged even as prices continue to rise.
“May reflected a market that continues to work well for sellers, but also offers encouraging signs for buyers,” said Christy Manetta, President of the Bucks County Association of REALTORS®. “More homes are becoming available, which creates added opportunity for buyers, while sellers are still benefiting from strong pricing and continued demand. Working with a REALTOR® who understands the local market remains especially important in this kind of environment.”
As Bucks County moves deeper into the spring market, the overall picture remains positive. Sellers are entering a market with strong home values, while buyers are seeing more choices emerge, even as competition remains. The result is a market that is still competitive, but showing signs of greater opportunity for both sides.
