The leadership and staff of the Bucks County Association of Realtors® are doing everything in our power to assist and serve you during this national crisis.
We stand with you to help you meet the unique challenges of staying safe and also keeping your business moving forward during these unprecedented circumstances.
Right now, all of us are also called to look out for one another. That means we must follow the current order of the Governor to stay at home and not engage in face-to-face business or in business activity outside of our homes.
While BCAR is not an enforcement arm for the Governor’s order, we are seeking guidance from the governor and attorney general’s offices, real estate commission and state and local police as to reporting violations of the order. As of right now, the buck is being passed among these entities, with no clear information coming from any of them. As of today, real estate has not been deemed a “life-sustaining” business in Pennsylvania, so compliance with the Governor’s order is still mandated.
BCAR does, however, continue to advocate for you on every level, to fashion a path for you to safely return to doing your real estate business, although not as usual, as quickly as is feasible.
We share in our members’ fear for the immediate and long-term financial future. You need to know when and how you can access the PA unemployment benefits being promised to independent contractors, along with any other state-generated pandemic financial resources and benefits. The BCAR leadership team is relentless in its advocacy efforts to get state action on these vital means of help.
Communications from BCAR include emailed special notices, an emailed newsletter, along with social media postings. All communications point to the BCAR COVID-19 web page, which is updated several times a day with relevant information and resources, gathered from multiple, vetted sources.
We are doing our utmost to get valuable information to you as quickly as possible, in an environment where things can change at the speed of light.
Please reach out (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your concerns, or just to say hello – we miss seeing you!
We will get through this together because That’s Who We R®!
