Habitat for Humanity Build Days

BCAR’s build days are scheduled for the Neighbor to Neighbor program on…

 Thursdays, February 21, March 27, May 15

We will expect about 15 volunteers on each build day.  The build days will take place at the Emerald Hollow development in Milford Township.  Please arrive at the site at 8:30am.  We work until 3:30pm, then clean up and are finished by 4 pm.  All volunteers must arrive on time in the morning; anyone who arrives after 9 am will miss important safety information and building instruction and will not be allowed to participate.  Lunch is held at 11:30am, and should be packed by each individual.  The volunteer information form needs to be fully completed by each participant ahead of time and brought to the work site on their build day.  Any individuals under 18 years old are required to have the form signed by a parent or legal guardian.  The minimum age to volunteer on the construction site is 16.  Individuals who have volunteered in the past should still complete the information sheet as this information must be updated annually.   Please wear appropriate attire to the site.  Dress should be appropriate to the weather, as you may be working outdoors.  Boots or sneakers should be worn; no sandals or open-toe shoes are permitted.  Thank you for your support of Habitat for Humanity!
